Marlboro Morris Ale Archive Project
There is an exciting new effort underway. The 50th Annual Marlboro Morris Ale will take place in 2025, and the Ale committee is already thinking about how to archive the story of the first 50 years.
The Ale Committee is working with Susan Creighton and Pat McPherson’s organization NARRATUS to create an archive of the Ale. Over the last couple of years, NARRATUS has been collecting memories and stories, images, and physical items to culminate with a searchable archive/website in 2025.
Thank you to all of you who have shared your stories, memories, and images for this collection. There will be other opportunities to contribute in the future, but for now, donations are not being accepted as we prepare the current collection for its debut in 2025.
The collection will be made available online as well as being officially archived at the Vermont Folklife Center in Middlebury, VT.
